So Where is This Going?

Lately I've been thinking about my blog a lot and have a faint desire to post something, anything but I don't know what to post.

Has anyone missed this blog? I know I had a little following for awhile but I'm not surprised if people have moved on to more current blogs.

I feel like I am in the same boat. I don't ever have anything exciting to write about so it seems like I rarely post as much as I used to.
Mostly now I am just blogging as a journal for me.

I am an occasional reader of your blog, as I am with most blogs that I read. Occasionally. Life is busy, and I just don't have the time to read or comment as much as I might like to. I believe that blogging should be for the writer, not for any perceived "followers". If you enjoy writing here, or journaling your life, do so. If you want a break, then that's alright too. I have found that there's a lot of people who might read what I write, but very few who actually take the time to leave a comment. I really enjoy reading feedback, but I can't use that as a reason as to why I write in the first place. I use my blog as a journal, so that I can look back and remember for myself.

I'd be interested to hear more about the photos you post. They just hang there, with a question mark.

Been checking here nearly every day to see if you've posted. Follow your posts on Facebook, so I do know a bit about you and Joey. Hope to see you back here now and then, even if you are "boring." *G*

I am with you and K.K. My mare and I are always learning but we are at a point where I don't think it would be interesting to anyone but me. I do need to get back to blogging - at least as a journal for myself.

I miss your riding stories. Show us video, or tell us what you're working on, or where you're competing.

It's hard to find a blog that just tells us what is up, what works, and what doesn't. Too many end up blog-excuse dump barns, or read like a lecture "for the rest of us".

Please post!

I still check in and am interested in what you're doing with Joey, but I completely understand the "What now?" -- I haven't ridden since September, so what's the point of my horse blog? :(

I agree with most of the others on how blogging is a good way for YOU to keep track of your training. And if you get some feedback? Great! If not, so what! I like to read when people are doing the Blog Hops and you have to answer questions that everyone else is answering. That's always fun. But to answer the first question, every time I see you post I usually read. :)
