Maybe...

I have found another young horse. He's different from the others I've mentioned before in that he's much younger. This weekend, weather permitting, the family and I are taking a long drive to see him. I so very much want him to be the one. Without having seen him in the flesh, just from a short video and chatting with his trainer, he's got me. I am afraid to jinx myself by saying more, just send me as much luck as you can that this handsome colt and I have a connection.

I will send lots of luck your way...I have been meaning to do a post about looking for the right horse and ending up with something else. Who cares if he isn't as old as you want? ENJOY!!!

What a wonderful surprize to find your sweet comment on my sidesaddle blog!!! ..and then to come over here and see that you posted about it too. I am blushing.. So glad you enjoyed it.

I was reading through your blog and know exactly what you mean about 'connecting' with a horse. You will find your match if you do not give up and do not settle.

Umm - as for animal health woes - yeah ...been there too - very recently. (In November) One Corgi was hit by a car when I let him out to pee - he chased a rabbit. Thankfully he survived a terrible concussion. (less than 2 weeks after that) My first show mare had to be put down from the worst case of colic I have ever seen..and 3 weeks ago another Corgi started not to feel well...after 2 misdiagnosis' we found out she had pymetria and came very close to dying from it... BIG SCARE for us! I just want to look up and scream "Enough Already!!!"

Glad to meet you - I will be back to visit!

Good luck with the horse, young can always be a very positive thing. They are so willing to learn (well most of them!)and can be molded into the horse you want them to be.

Crossing everything I can cross and hoping that everything turns out to be what you want and you get him!

I am the same way about not wanting to jinx myself so I don;t blame you for holding off on details!

I answered your question on my blog. When you have time, go back and see it.

Good luck!!! Sam, Frost and Roo just fell into my lap. I looked at a lot of horses after I sold Sam. (only looked at Sam when I bought him...I just knew.)

I just "knew" with Frost and Roo too.

You will find the horse that is meant for you.

I know someone looking for a good home for her horse. He is a very nice TB. I think he is 11 and located in Georgia. I know it is a haul. Email if you want details. The owner is pregnant and wants to find him a good home.
