It is amazing how close training is between different seats. I have a three year old western QH that listens to my seat and leg and tracks like a charm. It was so different training him because we focused so much on lifting his shoulder and tracking. It all has recently paid off when I switched from two handed to one. Because he listens to my seat and leg it hasn't phased him one bit. Great video, thanks for passing on!
“Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of Solitaire. It is a grand passion. It seizes a person whole and, once it has done so, he will have to accept that his life will be radically changed.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
"A good horse is worth more than riches." - Spanish Proverb
"Feel the Fear - Do it Anyway" - Susan Jeffers
RIDE FOR HER!
Somewhere behind the rider you've become, The trainers who pushed you, The people who believed in you, The long hours of schooling, The falls you've taken, The ribbons you didn't win, The tears and broken bones, And the horses you've given your heart to, Is the little girl who fell in love with the sport And never looked back. Ride for her!
