I feel for you. The song is beautiful and so sad.

How are you doing, physically? We haven't heard too much. I hope you are healing.

Sending good vibes. Wish I could do more.

I love this song, have had it on my ipod for years. Sorry to hear it's poignant to you right now though. Seasons always change though, if right now is tough, just know it gets better and brighter time is up ahead. Just keep walking forward, even if the steps are tiny :)

What a beautiful song - and what a beautiful voice. I'm hoping you are feeling the hope in the song.

My heart goes out to you...I know this is a hard time. But, I too think things will get better, sometimes we just have to wait to see what doors God is going to open up for us. Be patient, ask for guidance and keep us posted. Praying for you. Chin up sweetie!
But, thanks for posting that song.... see...you helped someone just by doing that. I am recovering from a fall I took off a spooked horse and landed me in hospital with three fractures in my spine. Take care and thank you!

Love the movie this song is from...have seen it many times. Guess that is why I don't think the song is sad - more uplifting. Hope you are looking forward and getting stronger every day - in body and spirit!

This is my first visit to your blog. Thank you so much for posting that article about how a love for horses makes us slightly insane, and I empathize with your post about how it sucks to not have horses in your life.

I was diagnosed with a chronic n(and incurable) pelvic pain condition about two weeks after I bought my first horse at 38. I rode anyway, even though it always made me feel worse. After trying to ride through the pain and a couple of bad falls, I decided my riding days were over unless I could better manage my disease and get into better physical shape.

Then I lost my job, and although I've lucked out so far I have lived daily with the possibility of losing my girls.

Horses are beautiful and they're balm for the soul. But they are not the only answer. You are doing a terrifically brave thing by doing the right thing by your family.

Good things will come into your life because of this.
