I appreciate the affirmation of friendship. I'll admit I'm not the best blogger when it comes to following up on the comments of those who take the time to read and comment on my postings. But I do appreciate that there are folks out there who read me and like to comment. I have made a few friends here whose opinion I give credit to and others who's viewpoints encourage me to stay true to my own. I know lately the tone of my blog hasn't always been positive but that's life.
So, I'm passing this award on to the following fellow bloggers. I know some of you have already received this award but I'm giving it to you anyway, to let you know that your input and interest really does mean a lot to me. I've been enjoying reading your blog and managed to catch up on a few of the earlier posts so now I know a bit more about the background story of "A Good Horse." It explains a lot about how hard this new search is for you.
I am wishing you all the best in finding someone to replace Monty in both your barn and your heart. I know the ache you feel, and I can tell you, there is another good horse out there meant just for you.
And remember too, our horses are as good as we make them so if you find one that's not so perfect sneaking into your soul, consider that you will make him/her into the horse you want with just a little extra effort. (Might post a bit about this on my blog soon. It's a good topic.)

Thank you Solitairemare. I have the warm and fuzzies just thinking about it. The last thing I remember winning was second place in the Egg-and-Spoon Race at school. I would have won First,(according to family lore) but, after the little girl with red hair crossed into my lane in front of me, I am told I completed the race repeating "excuse me please, excuse me please" Damn those manners.
